Ch.2: The Life Of Insects

ABSTRACT:- Insects are the most beautiful and wonderful invertebrates having the capability to fly. Apart from the common characteristics of class insects, they have diversity in body structure, size of the body, adaptations, and colourations. The life of social insects, their division of labour, and their rules and regulations are surprising. They adapt themselves successfully to different types of climatic conditions. Sometimes they are beneficial to us and sometimes harmful. In this chapter, we can study the life of insects, the injurious and beneficial insects, and the protective devices of insects.
